ARFLU has recently obtained an order for several 48” class 150 Double Expansion Plug Valves for a prestigious project in a Cavern. These are some of the largest Double Expansion Plug Valves ever made and is already ARFLU’s fourth order for this type of oversize valves (36 ″ and larger) this year, consolidating ARFLU as a market leader for this type of valve.
Double Expansion Plug Valves, also called DBB Plug Valves, are specifically designed for Double Block and Bleed and DIB service that guarantee a hermetic seal both upstream and downstream. Its unique design eliminates wear due to non-contact rotation of the tap and greatly prolongs the life of the valve. It is the ideal valve for petroleum terminals, gauge skids, and fuel hydrant systems.
